Anna Cher is my maiden name. Officially, people address me Mrs. Anna Tan in Kuching. I'm a graduate from Canada with a Bachelor Degree and Master of Education Management. Upon graduation, I spent 3 years teaching in various secondary schools in Hong Kong and 2 years teaching English at International Tuition School, Kuching. I am a trained Malaysian teacher who has taught various subjects at Lodge National School (Kindergarten, Grade 2-5) for 10 years and for a further 11 years at Lodge International School, I have also assisted setting up the International Primary Curriculum for English, Mathematics and Science . Helping children to learn and grow have been my top priority since I started teaching at the Lodge Group of Schools for over 20 years. Apart from being an educator and pioneer who values education as one of the best opportunities students should always have access to, I always believe that learning is a lifelong process and most of it begins within our classroom walls.
I have been a private ESL(English as a Second Language) tutor for non-speakers of English from various linguistic backgrounds for more than 10 years.
